Established in 2021, Pre-major Freshman Program in the College of Humanities and Education offers international students a degree program during their first year before becoming a full major in the second year at CYCU.
Activity Highlights
Basic Chinese free online class
In order to let the students into the course quickly, we set up a short basic Chinese course. This course is set up before the start of the semester.
The welcoming activity
At the beginning of the new semester, we introduce the courses and important activities to freshman. We build a bridge of communication between instructor and students.
Works of Chinese Culture and Arts
Combined with the Mid Autumn Festival, we introduce the significance of Chrysanthemum in literature and culture, and lead students to create the painting of autumn chrysanthemum.
The Instructions of adaptive department selection
We invite a professional instructor to introduce the U-CAN test and lead the students do it in this event. It can not only help students, but also provide for their reference in the future. Furthermore, we introduced the application process of adaptive department selecting to let them familiarizing with it.

Showing the students in PFP around the environment of Chung Yang Christian University,and introducing the special zone in the campus to make them fit in at school. Furthermore, we cared every single person pleasantly during the event . The event in that day help us close the gap between the students and the teacher !
