--Combining Practical and academic value--

The curriculum has two major objectives: while training students in the language for everyday uses, it also requires them to be seriously prepared for the college work and develop a strong discipline-specific knowledge base.

--Integrating language skills and content--

The courses are designed to enhance students’ development of four language skills from the perspective of Content-Based Instruction and Task-Based Instruction.

--Encompassing in and out of the learning environment--

The Program offers valuable opportunities for students to be adaptive and interactive with fellow learners as well as faculty across disciplines, establishing connections through clubs, mentoring, network events and one-on-one language partners from different departments.
