在大一的院週會上第一次聽到GCSP這個計畫，在當時對我來講這個計畫有點難度，因此我考慮了很久才決定參加，而就結果來說我很慶幸最後我參加並完成這個計畫。
在GCSP此計畫當中主要為完成五個部分，分別為創新創業、多元文化、社會意識、跨學科和研究以及創造力五個能力，對於一般工科大學生來說，有很多部分是指按照系上學科去學習的話不太會接觸到的領域，例如創業、社會意識、跨學科等，且在目前的社會上所需要的並不是只有著單一領域知識的人才，而是有著跨領域知識的人，因此在這個完成這個計畫過程中我也逐漸獲得了這些技能。
例如像是有選修環工科系之課程，在這之前其實我不太知道環工科系確切在做什麼，也一度以為這個科系其實和土木有關，但在了解之後才知道這跟我想像中的不太一樣。而另一個跨領域課程則是選擇程式相關，在現在程式語言逐漸變成一種基本技能，也是一個幾乎可以跟任何科系連結的領域，程式也為我們的生活帶來方便。而即使我所選擇的程式語言課程並不是多麼困難的課，我依舊在這之中學到很多並相信這對未來會帶來幫助。
總結性來說，我覺得GCSP此計畫是一個很適合工學院學生參加的計畫，隨著計劃一步步完成，不僅得到成就感也獲得很多知識和相關經歷，也學到如何解決當中遇到的困難。
I am Audrey. I first heard about GCSP program during a weekly meeting in my first year at CYCU. At the time, I found the program challenging, so I took a long time to think about it before deciding to join. I am grateful that I joined and successfully completed it.
GCSP program focuses on developing five key skills: Innovation and entrepreneurship, Multicultural, Social consciousness, Multidisciplinary, Research and creativity. For engineering students, topics such as entrepreneurship, social awareness and multidisciplinary studies are not their major learning. In today’s society, however, it is not solely single-discipline that is in demand, but rather individuals with multidisciplinary knowledge get more opportunities. Therefore, throughout the process of completing GCSP, I had made my way to explore the unfamiliar.
For example, I took an elective course in environmental engineering. Before that, I knew little about what environmental engineering actually involved, and I even mistakenly believed that it was related to civil engineering. However, after the study, I realized that it was different from what I had imagined. Another multidisciplinary course I chose was programming, which in nowadays becomes the fundamental and important skill applied in almost every field.
In conclusion, I believe that GCSP is well suited for engineering students. As I have progressed throughout the program, I gained not only a joy of accomplishment, but also valuable knowledge and experiences along with overcoming the challenges.
