Milestones
- Established on January 17, 2008, under the Office of Continuing Education of Chung Yuan Christian University
- August 2015, on a trial basis, changed from the Chinese Language Section to the Chinese Language Center
- August 2016, officially renamed as Mandarin Learning Center (MLC)
- August 2021 Reorganized into the College of Humanities and Education, a second-tier unit.
