The counseling center aims to enhance counselors’ professional skills and promote students’ physical and mental well-being. By utilizing a sound departmental case management system, integrating resources for at-risk students, and coordinating with interdepartmental personnel, a stronger caring connection is built.
Based on the concept of “everyone is a gatekeeper for suicide prevention”, the knowledge and awareness of suicide prevention among faculty, staff, and students will be enhanced. Together, they will help to implement the three levels of mental health promotion.
With the goal of accommodating the diverse needs of students who face psychological adaptation difficulties, the counseling center assists counselors in maintaining sensitivity to multicultural issues. Furthermore, the counseling center has held multicultural activities regularly for students and staff.
