Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), in collaboration with Chinese Culture University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Tunghai University, and Providence University, is proud to announce the formation of the “Digital Talent Cultivation Alliance for Lifelong Evolving Education.” This academic alliance is a reciprocal effort to collectively develop high-quality Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to promote digital learning activities.
CYCU, serving as the central institution, leverages its robust digital education resources to drive collaborative initiatives among the member schools, fostering an environment for mutual enhancement of digital teaching capabilities.
Program Overview:
The alliance presents four series of courses designed to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in the digital era:
1. Introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals:
A comprehensive exploration of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that focuses on fostering global cooperation.
2. Organisational Behaviour and Management:
A course delving into effective management practices and organizational behavior in the digital age.
3. Sustainable Development Opportunities and Reflections in the Information Age:
Analyzing sustainable development prospects and encouraging critical reflections amidst the digital information age.
4. Sustainability Net Zero Technology and Management Practice:
Exploring technological advancements for sustainability and best practices in management.
Educational Approach:
These courses emphasize cross-country collaboration, utilizing the understanding of SDGs as a foundation. Learners are encouraged to reflect on their expertise and career goals, leveraging acquired knowledge to address global challenges. The aim is to inspire local action and foster collaboration with international partners.
