Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) collaborates with Forman Christian College University (FCCU) in Lahore, Pakistan, to organize an intensive online short program focused on Mandarin Chinese learning. Sponsored by the Taiwan Ministry of Education, this initiative marks a significant cultural exchange between Taiwan and Pakistan.
The program, conducted in February, offers a diverse learning experience through various online activities. Participants from FCCU, mainly comprising school professors and staff, engaged in an enriching curriculum covering basic Chinese conversation, cultural sharing, and even hands-on activities like handmade paper cutting — all conducted virtually.
The Taiwan Ministry of Education’s sponsorship underscores the commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and language exchange. Participants from FCCU expressed their amazement at the camp’s content, highlighting their enjoyment and the unique opportunity to virtually experience Taiwan through online learning.
