Application Process for Non-Visa/One-on-one/One-on-two Students

If you are already in Taiwan and wish to apply for a Chinese language course, please carefully read the application procedures below and submit the required documents to the Mandarin Learning Center via the online registration form at least six weeks before the course begins.

※ Please note: Registration at the Mandarin Learning Center does not constitute eligibility for a visa. Before registering, please verify the visa application requirements with the appropriate overseas office.

I. Registration Process

Step 1. Submit the required documents

Please submit the following documents to the Mandarin Learning Center (MLC) in Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) via the online registration form at least six weeks prior to the start of the course. Late submissions will not be accepted.

※ After uploading all required documents, please proceed to pay the registration fee of TWD$1,500. (This fee will be credited toward your tuition upon official enrollment.)

Step 2. Visa Application and Payment of Related Fees

Once the Mandarin Learning Center receives your application documents and deposit, and after verification, an admission notice (issued by the Mandarin Learning Center of Chung Yuan Christian University) and a payment link will be provided within one to two weeks.

Upon submission of the above documents, please proceed to make the required payment at your earliest convenience.

  • Payment Methods: Cash, bank transfer, or online credit card payment.

II. Placement Test

After receiving the admission letter and completing the payment, our staff member will contact you to take a placement test. The Mandarin Learning Center will then assign you to a suitable course based on your Chinese proficiency and learning needs.

III. Enrollment

Please check your admission letter for the registration date.
