全校外籍生大一不分系學士學位學程(Pre-major Freshman Program for International Students)為推行本校境外生華語文教育及提升外籍學生華語學習動機，並提升學生的口語表達能力與自信心，特別舉辦本次華語演講比賽。

為鼓勵學生踴躍報名參加、積極參與華語文學習活動，本次提供眾多獎項，以提高參賽者得獎的機率，充分增加華語演講比賽的吸引力。邀請資深專業華語教師擔任本次活動之評審委員，分別是本校應用華語文學系王贊育老師、本學程黃郁婷老師以及許琇婷老師，以期比賽能有公平專業的評審。

本次比賽共計13位學生報名，參賽者在演講中展現出了流利的華語口語表達能力，熟練地運用的語法和詞彙，清晰地傳達了自己的思想和觀點。學習如何結構演講、運用肢體語言和聲音調節等演講技巧，提升了他們的演講效果和影響力。比賽經驗也讓參賽者能夠克服緊張和舞台恐懼，充分提升自信心。除此之外，本次演講比賽也提供了外籍學生文化交流學習的機會，深度了解來自其他國家的文化，認識其他文化差異的事件，以提升跨文化素養。

本次活動共計53名師生參與。

The Pre-major Freshman Program for International Students organized a Chinese Speech Competition to support Chinese language education for international students at the university, enhance their motivation to learn Chinese, and improve their oral communication skills and confidence.

To encourage students to actively register for and participate in Chinese language learning activities, a variety of prizes were offered, increasing the opportunities for participants to receive awards and making the competition more appealing. Experienced and professional Chinese language teachers were invited to serve as judges, including Mr. Wang Tsan-Yu from the Department of Applied Chinese Language and Culture, as well as Ms. Huang Yu-Ting and Ms. Hsu Hsiu-Ting from the Program. Their professional expertise helped ensure a fair and objective evaluation.

A total of 13 students registered for the competition. During their speeches, the participants demonstrated fluent Chinese oral communication skills and effectively used grammar and vocabulary to clearly express their thoughts and opinions. Through the competition, students learned various speech techniques, including how to structure a speech, use body language, and adjust their voices. These skills helped improve the effectiveness and impact of their presentations.

The competition experience also helped participants overcome nervousness and stage fright, allowing them to build greater confidence. In addition, the competition provided international students with opportunities for cultural exchange and learning. By learning about cultures from different countries and gaining a deeper understanding of cultural differences, students further developed their intercultural awareness.

A total of 53 teachers and students participated in the activity.
