\u65bc\u5927\u4e00\u67d0\u6b21\u7cfb\u4e3b\u4efb\u6642\u9593\uff0c\u6211\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u5de5\u5b78\u9662\u6240\u4e3b\u7406\u7684\u7f8e\u570b\u5de5\u7a0b\u9662(National Academy of Engineering, NAE)\u63d0\u5021\u4e4bGCSP\u300c\u570b\u969b\u83c1\u82f1\u4eba\u624d\u57f9\u80b2\u300d\u7684\u76f8\u95dc\u8cc7\u8a0a\uff0c\u4e26\u65bc2021\u5e743\u67083\u65e5\u63d0\u51fa\u8a08\u756b\u63d0\u6848\u4f9b\u76f8\u95dc\u55ae\u4f4d\u5be9\u7406\u3002<\/h2>\n

\u5728\u6b64\u5148\u611f\u8b1d\u4e0a\u4e00\u5c46GCSP\u7562\u696d\u751f\u6797\u6615\u9708\u5b78\u59ca\u63d0\u4f9b\u9f13\u52f5\u8207\u5e6b\u52a9\u4f7f\u8a08\u756b\u6709\u500b\u7f8e\u597d\u7684\u958b\u982d\uff0c\u518d\u4f86\u8981\u611f\u8b1d\u8a08\u756b\u4e3b\u6301\u4eba\u8cbb\u5b89\u6771\u6559\u6388\u5f9e\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u8a73\u7d30\u89e3\u8aaa\u8a08\u756b\u5167\u5bb9\u8207\u4e3b\u65e8\uff0c\u5230\u6bcf\u4e00\u6b21\u7d04\u8ac7\u90fd\u7d66\u6211\u6bcf\u500b\u9805\u76ee\u7684\u660e\u78ba\u5b89\u6392\u548c\u770b\u8457\u6211\u5728\u6210\u9577\u7684\u80af\u5b9a\uff0c\u9019\u500b\u8a08\u756b\u8cab\u5fb9\u4e86\u6211\u5927\u4e00\u5230\u5927\u56db\u7684\u5b78\u7fd2\u6b77\u7a0b\u548c\u7d42\u6975\u76ee\u6a19\uff0c\u6211\u4e00\u958b\u59cb\u4e26\u4e0d\u662f\u5c31\u80fd\u770b\u898b\u8a08\u756b\u6210\u679c\u8c50\u6536\u7684\u7f8e\u597d\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u7d93\u904e\u4e00\u5c0f\u6b65\u4e00\u5c0f\u6b65\u7684\u5be6\u8e10\u548c\u4e00\u5b78\u671f\u4e00\u5b78\u671f\u7684\u7d93\u6b77\uff0c\u6162\u6162\u5730\u64a5\u958b\u91cd\u91cd\u8ff7\u9727\uff0c\u770b\u898b\u6d77\u95ca\u5929\u7a7a\u7684\u7406\u60f3\u548c\u8fd1\u5728\u54ab\u5c3a\u7684\u6210\u679c\u3002<\/h2>\n

\u5728\u9019\u91cd\u9ede\u5be6\u9a57\u8a08\u756b\u4e2d\uff0c\u4e00\u5b9a\u8981\u611f\u8b1d\u6211\u7684\u73ed\u7d1a\u5c0e\u5e2b\u517c\u8a08\u756b\u8f14\u5c0e\u8001\u5e2b\u9ec3\u90c1\u6148\u6559\u6388\u70ba\u6211\u91cf\u8eab\u8a02\u505a\u9019\u500b\u7121\u9650\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\u5be6\u9a57\u8a08\u756b\uff0c\u4e26\u611f\u8b1d\u9673\u69ae\u8f1d\u6559\u6388\u5728\u6578\u64da\u9a45\u52d5\u5316\u63a7\u5236\u548c\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u6167\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u5c08\u696d\u5171\u540c\u6307\u5c0e\u3002\u6700\u5f8c\uff0c\u6210\u679c\u7684\u8c50\u6536\u65bc2023\u5e746\u670814\u65e5\u79ae\u7562\uff0c\u5728\u6b64\u611f\u8b1d\u5de5\u5b78\u9662\u5f35\u5fd7\u5091\u8001\u5e2b\u4e00\u8def\u8d70\u4f86\u7684\u966a\u4f34\u548c\u5b89\u6392\uff0c\u6b64GCSP\u8a08\u756b\u7684\u7d42\u9ede\u70ba\u6211\u655e\u958b\u4e86\u672a\u4f86\u7121\u53ef\u9650\u91cf\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u548c\u50f9\u503c\u3002<\/h2>\n

I am Jean Chien. I got information about National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP) during a department chair rally when I was a freshman. I made a proposal to GCSP plan in CYCU and was happily enrolled by the committee. While other students in my class were working on the major courses,  taking their step-by-step courses and experiment lesson, I made up my mind to strive in the GCSP program, which gathered elites coming from different STEM departments to take the challenges on GCSP corresponding 5 competencies\u2019 learning activities. I\u2019d like to recognize Kelly Lin, the previous GCSP graduate, for providing me encouragement and support to lead me a nice beginning in GCSP program. And I\u2019m very grateful to Professor Venault, director of GCSP program, for his detailed explanations to GCSP program essentials and goals. He also gave me management suggestions for reaching five competencies by reconfirming my progress every semester with my mentor.<\/h3>\n

The GCSP program went through my whole learning process from my freshman to senior life to touch the goal. While concentrating on myself school work in my department, I still made lots of effort and was mindful to my GCSP progress simultaneously. Having not seen the big step on GCSP in the long run, I was sometimes lost in the mist to reach tangible achievements. However, through careful implements to take the courses, participate in extra curriculum activities and finish the experience task step by step, I finally made my way.<\/h3>\n

In the laboratory path, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Professor Yu-Tzu Huang, my class adviser and GCSP mentor, for customizing the experiment project which widened my horizon. And I appreciate deeply to Professor Jung-Hui Chen for his professional co-supervision in data-driven control and artificial intelligent. By the way, there are special thanks to Teacher Roger Chang for his long-term coordination and company to me.

Last
but not the least, the fruitful harvest to completion of GCSP was on June 14 in
2023. The final GCSP defense definitely was the remarkable ending in this
program in my university life and this is surely the promising starting point to
the future.
