PhD Program in Business is looking for international students with interest, motivation, and talent to join our research workforce and become part of our campus community. The program does not have restriction on students\u2019 background. Good academic performance and English proficiency (TOFEL Score of 500 or better) are emphasized in program committee review of admission. Students considering advanced academic development or high-level industry positions are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>

A) Registration: How to Apply?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

All international admissions are handled by CYCU Office of International and Cross-Strait Education. Application should be done online (https:\/\/ias.cycu.edu.tw\/<\/a> ) Application period are listed below\uff1a<\/p>

  1. i) Fall-term (September intake): 1st Dec to 15th Apr<\/li>
  2. ii) Spring-term (February intake): 15th Aug to 15th Oct<\/li><\/ol>

    Required documents for applying a degree:The completed and signed application form (It can be downloaded after you completed the online application)<\/p>

    1. The original graduation diploma\/certificate of undergraduate and graduate education received<\/li>
    2. English or Chinese translated version of the diploma\/certificate(if the original is not in English or Chinese)<\/li>
    3. Official transcripts of academic records (undergraduate and graduate) from the university Registrar\u2019s office<\/li>
    4. English or Chinese translated version of the transcripts (if the original is not in English\/Chinese)<\/li>
    5. Report of English language capacity test scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, TOIEC, etc.)<\/li>
    6. Two letters of recommendation (optional for bachelor’s degree application)<\/li>
    7. Study Plan (including motivation, education & career goals, research interests, course-taking plan, etc.) (optional for bachelor’s degree application)<\/li>
    8. Resume \/ CV (including education, research activities\/publications, employment history, extra-curricular activities, and References \u2013 to compose it as a list)<\/li>
    9. Autobiography (Introduce yourself – to compose it as an article)<\/li>
    10. Financial statement<\/li>
    11. Photocopy of the passport (identification page)<\/li>
    12. Additional documents required by individual department\/program (for example, Portfolio)<\/li>
    13. Other supplementary materials (optional)<\/li><\/ol>

      *After the applicant completes the online registration, hardcopies should be posted to CYCU, please do not send the original certificates or important documents in case of lost in transit.<\/p>
