Internship in LongFuHong Co., Ltd

Time Period: 6/2025 – 9/2025

In the 2025 summer, 4 international students from the Ph.D. Program in Business at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) participated in a three-month business internship program at LongFuHong Co., Ltd. They were Ms. NGO Hong Vui from Vietnam, Mr. IGNATIUS REYNER GIOVANNI from Indonesia, Ms. SEPHALI BERA from India, and Mr. ADIL ZAREEF KHAN from Pakistan.
During the internship, the students actively engaged in company operations and project assignments, strengthening their professional knowledge and practical skills. Through hands-on experience and cross-cultural collaboration, they gained valuable industry insights and opened up a new perspective that integrates theory with real-world practice.

Each intern was assigned a personal mentor who guided our international students through their projects and helped them learn Chinese when needed. After the orientation, they are provided their own workspaces and all the necessary equipment, allowing them to focus comfortably on their tasks.

The company’s Friday Morning Meeting is conducted entirely in Chinese—a real challenge for international students.

The General Manager, Mr. Raymond Chen, encouraged them to speak up and even taught them Chinese in person, which greatly boosted their confidence.

During the internship, international students visited the company’s warehouses in Changhua and Linkou to observe real logistics and inventory operations.

Senior employees generously shared their knowledge, and on one visit, the General Manager treated them to Taiwanese bubble milk tea—a small but unforgettable gesture.

International students often held group meetings to discuss ideas and learn from one another. Coming from Pakistan, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam, each of us contributed unique perspectives, making teamwork both diverse and enriching.

Spending time together at our desks, international students enjoyed both work and friendship. It was a joyful internship experience – full of learning, teamwork, and memorable moments that we will always cherish.

In the final stage, international students presented their project results to the management team. Although there were minor errors, their effort and collaboration were highly appreciated. This experience strengthened their professional and communication skills and deepened their understanding of real-world business operations. Receiving their internship certificates marked a proud and memorable conclusion to this rewarding journey.
