On December 1, 2025, our program hosted a special lecture, welcoming Prof. Hans Hananto Andreas and Prof. Ronny Prabowo from Satya Wacan Christian University, Indonesia, to share their experiences in international collaboration and accounting research. Prof. Hans Andreas, an alumnus of our program, expressed that during his studies at our school he felt the care and support of faculty and peers. He returned to give back to his alma mater, hoping to pass on this warmth to current students and inspire them to broaden their international perspective and professional skills. The lecture also explored how institutional, cultural, geographical, and governmental factors influence accounting research, enhancing students’ and faculty’s understanding of international scholarship and opening opportunities for future collaboration.
