The “Bilingual Christmas: Cross-cultural Celebration,” hosted by the Bilingual Education Promotion and Resource Center of the College of Business, was held on December 15, bringing together local and international students in a joyful and welcoming English-speaking environment.

International students from our PhD Program in Business, representing Indonesia (TIFANY, ERWIN), India (SEPHALI), and the Philippines (ALIEEN), participated in the event conducted entirely in English. Through interaction with local students and an English-guided Christmas decoration workshop, participants experienced campus holiday traditions while using English as a natural bridge for cultural exchange.

The event was hosted by, IGNATIUS REYNER GIOVANNI from Indonesia, a PhD candidate in the program. Hosting entirely in English, he conveyed warmth and enthusiasm through sincere and engaging delivery, and his Christmas song performance added a touching highlight to the evening.

With a shared dinner and a Christmas raffle, the event created meaningful moments of connection, reflecting the College of Business’s commitment to a friendly, inclusive, and internationally engaged learning environment.
